About Millets

Millet is a small, gluten-free grain, that has been eaten as a staple in Asian countries for almost 7000 years.  After the initiation of various varieties of wheat and rice during the 20th century, millets became relegated from our kitchens and got a tag of poor man’s food

In response to this, high consumption of refined wheat flour & polished rice started and became the main ingredients of foods used by the urban population. which has led to a rise in lifestyle diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease with obesity.
